DescriptionCamp Lewis, or Tent City, was a community of tents set up to provide accommodations at reasonable rates for Lewis Publishing Company subscribers and others attending the 1904 St. Louis World's Fair. This photograph shows the north part of the Camp with the dining tents and recreation tents, as well at the flag pole. This is left center part of a 4-part panorama view that appeared in "A Trip to Camp Lewis, A City of Tents," a promotional pamphlet published by the Lewis Publishing Company.
