| Description | The Art Academy Building was designed by St. Louis architects Eames and Young for the People's University of the American Woman's League. In this photograph, looking northeast, exterior walls are complete on the first floor and work is in process on the second floor. John J. Dunnavant & Co. were the general contractors for the project. Some of the buildings at Delmar Garden Amusement Park are visible on the right in the distance. |
