Description	The Art Academy Building was designed in the Classical Revival style by St. Louis architects Eames and Young for the People's University of the American Woman's League. At this stage in construction photographs were taken almost weekly to document the progress of the building. In this photograph looking north on September 4, 1909, the second floor exterior walls of the south wing are complete, and concrete is being poured for the floor of the third story.
