DescriptionThe Art Academy Building was designed in the Classical Revival style by St. Louis architects Eames and Young for the People's University of the American Woman's League. Construction began in the spring of 1909, and artists were in residence by winter. This photograph taken looking southwest on May 20, 1910. The Woman's National Daily Building is on the left.
