DescriptionLewis Publishing Company used horse and mule drawn mail trucks to deliver the mail from the Press Annex to Merchant Express Company street cars for delivery to the railroad station in downtown St. Louis. This photograph appeared in the June 1904 issue of the "Woman's Magazine."
