DescriptionUp until 1910, Delmar Boulevard in University City was unpaved. In this photograph the United Railway track gang is removing the old streetcar tracks to make way for the new paving being done with creosote blocks. The University Heights real estate office appears to have been painted out on the negative. This photograph appeared in "The Woman's National Daily" on April 12, 1910.
