Description | The Woman's Magazine Building, designed by Herbert C. Chivers, was built for the Lewis Publishing Company in 1903. This photograph was taken about 1907 shows the main building and a portion of the Press Annex and the Conservatory. Employees wore a path through the lot as they came and went to work by streetcar which stopped at Delmar Garden Amusement Park a block away. |
