The bronze and mahogany stair railing, constructed by Winslow of Chicago, continues around the balcony. Edward Gardner Lewis' office is at the top of the grand stairway, and offices of other Lewis Publishing Company executives are around the perimeter. A portion of Ralph Chesley Ott's mural is just visible above the chandelier.
