DescriptionSculptor William Bailey designed sixteen statues of young ladies holding bouquets of flowers for the fifth floor banquet room of the Woman's Magazine Building. Lights inside the bouquets provided soft illumination around the perimeter of the room. In this photograph construction materials still fill the room, and one statue is in the process of being installed. The unidentified workman may be William Bailey.
