Description | The Woman's Magazine Building and Press Annex were built in 1903. The Press Annex was redesigned in late 1908 by architects Eames and Young so that it more closely resembled the design of the Magazine Building, and to add a second story to provide additional work space. In this photograph, the second story exterior walls are being built, and forms are being constructed to pour the concrete floor. Terra cotta decoration is in place on the south face of the building. University Heights #1 subdivision is just visible at the top of the photograph. |
