Description | When Edward Gardner Lewis' People's United States Bank was closed in 1905, Herbert C. Chivers' plans for the intended building were adapted for use as the publishing plant for Lewis' newspaper venture, "The Woman's National Daily." In this photograph, workmen are building forms for concrete for the Woman's National Daily Building. The Woman's Magazine Building is across Delmar Boulevard. |
