Chivers' plans for the intended building were adapted for use as the publishing plant for Lewis' newspaper venture, "The Woman's National Daily." In this photograph, much of the concrete for the building has been poured, though another set of concrete forms surround the top of the building. Curbs and sidewalks are being installed along Trinity Avenue, west of the building. | Source | Photograph, moisture damage and stains along top edge, 9.49" by 7.34" | Subject | Egyptian Building (University City, Mo.) | Subject | University City (Mo.)--Pictorial Works | Subject | Chivers, Herbert Caleb, 1870- | Subject | Woman's National Daily Building (University City, Mo.) | Subject.Keyword | Buildings--Missouri--University City | Title | Woman's Magazine Building under construction, 1906 - View 4 |
