Description | The composing department for "The Woman's National Daily" was located at one end of the great hall and press room of the Woman's National Daily Building. Four of the department's linotype machines are on the right. This photograph was probably taken in late 1906 or early 1907. Construction scaffolding is still in place on the right, and the columns and walls have not been painted in the Egyptian motif that would be a major attraction later. |
