| Description | On May 8, 1912 lots in University Heights #1, #2 and #3 subdivisions owned by the University Heights Realty and Development Company, one of Edward Gardner Lewis' companies, were sold at public auction. The auction was held in the Woman's Magazine Building Press Annex. The Company had been placed in receivership in 1911, along with the Lewis Publishing Company and the publications themselves. This photograph appeared in "The Woman's National Daily" on May 18, 1912. |
