Description	Sixty-five ladies, almost all members of the American Woman's League, from Edwardsville and East St. Louis, Illinois visited University City and League headquarters on May 7, 1909. In this photograph, part of the group gathered on the steps of the Woman's National Daily Building with League founder, Edward Gardner Lewis (front right, turned sideways). This photograph appeared in "The Woman's National Daily" on May 10, 1909.
