In September 1910, the brand new state-of-the art 90 horsepower, 650 gallon per minute, automobile fire engine built by the Robinson Fire Apparatus Company of St. Louis, was delivered. It cost $9,000. One of the first demonstrations was to show how high the water could be thrown.
