DescriptionThis Neoclassical style house at 6970 Princeton Avenue (originally #11 Princeton Avenue)in University Heights #1 was built between 1906 and 1907. The first owner was C. W. McFarland. By 1908, the house belonged to Mrs. E. B. Robinson. Her sons, Vernon and Earl Robinson, were the owners of the Robinson Fire Apparatus Company, and manufacturers of University City's first motorized fire truck. The house was pictured in Lewis' publication "The American Woman's League and University City," published in early 1908.
