The League provided a set of mission style furniture and carpets, as well as a state of the art phonograph. Since many towns did not yet have electricity, each Chapter was responsible for installing their own lighting system. The Corydon, Kentucky Chapter chose elaborate gas fixtures to light both ends of the meeting room. | Source | Photograph, mounted on scrapbook paper, overexposed, out of focus, 8.22" by 6.10" | Subject | Corydon (Ky.) | Subject | American Woman's League--Chapter Houses | Subject.Keyword | Arts and crafts movement | Subject.Keyword | Furniture, mission | Title | American Woman's League Chapter House, Corydon, Kentucky - Interior |
