DescriptionThe Hart Memorial Chapter of the American Woman's League in Kisimmee, Florida qualified for this Class II arts and crafts style Chapter House, built for them by the League on a lot donated by Mrs. Carrie S. Hart, the wife of the former Florida governor. The League emblem, a wreath of acanthus leaves surrounding the letters A.W.L., and the name, were placed on the front of each Chapter House so the building would be easily recognized by members visiting from other towns.
