DescriptionThe Pinellas Chapter of the American Woman's League in St. Petersburg, Florida was organized in August of 1909, and was the only Chapter in the country to qualifiy for a Class V Chapter House. The Chapter House was started for them by the League on a lot donated by the Chapter. The League's financial difficulties stopped construction, but it was finally completed in 1913 with funds raised by the members. J. Frank Chase was the contractor.
